Datebook: Wynne Win Situation

If you’re a fan of definition-defying actress/author/filmmaker/artist Miranda July, you’ll definitely want to see performance artist (and native Seattleite) Wynne Greenwood, who explores all manner of art forms in a similarly quirky and witty way. For Sister Taking Nap: A Meditation About Human Evolution, Greenwood (who gained acclaim for her band Tracy + the Plastics, in which she portrayed all three musicians, interacting with her alter egos by way of video) employs sculpture, music and video to transform the On the Boards space into an “interactive performance environment.”
