Datebook: Hidden Beauties
There’s a lot of oohing and ahhing going on at the Seattle Asian Art Museum these days, thanks to a truly glorious 58-work collection of intricate paintings crafted for India’s Rajasthan nobles between the 17th and 19th centuries. Most of these delicate pieces of art have only been viewed by a few scholars since their creation—and have never before been on display in the United States.
