Looking to do more than handout raisins and chocolates to the kiddies this Halloween? Here are eight other ideas for a fright night out.

Teatro ZinZanni's "ZinZombie Halloween” celebration

This ghoulish event kicks off with an All Hallow’s Eve Happy Hour before an awe inducing performance by contortionists, tumblers and clowns during a delightful “ghoul-met” dinner. Prizes awarded for best costume!

BOO – The Halloween Costume Extravaganza in Fremont
Billed as Seattle’s largest Halloween costume and dance party, this one is sure to please your ghoulish desires with full liquor bars, Vegas style electronic visual displays, face and body painting, costume contest and private VIP section. This event is a fundraiser for the Fremont Chamber of Commerce.

Guilty Pleasures Fetish Ball at Heaven Nightclub

For those that like their excitement skin-tight and a little darker. Guilty Pleasures Fetish Ball comes complete with DJ’s, fetish models, live performances, erotic dancers and more. This event is not for the faint of heart.

Hollywood Nights at The Showbox at the Market
This event is sure to offer some good old-fashioned Halloween fun. Get decked out your most creative costume and compete in over eight different categories. More than $4,000 in prizes will be given out for best dressed costumes. Rock out to the tunes of dance band, Cool Ade, playing favorites from the 70’s to the 90’s.

Bonza Bash

So, you say masquerades are more of your style? Let the Bonza Bash appeal to your classier desires. Classic Masquerade (black tie and mask) attire preferred. Pirates will be turned away at the door. A portion of the proceeds will go to Roses & Rosemary, a charity raising awareness and money for HIV positive orphans in Africa.

Circus Contraption’s Actually Scary Halloween Bash
Touted as Seattle’s premier one-ring traveling circus, Circus Contraption has over ten years of thrilling performances under its belt. These performers are sure to scare the heck out of everyone with a death defying aerial show, juggling ninja’s and performers telling ghost stories.

Seattle Opera’s Elektra-fying Halloween Special
Start your night off with an operatic tale of revenge and murder. Richard Strauss’ “Elektra,” is based on the tragedy of Agamemnon, whose daughter makes it her obsession to avenge his death! Special Halloween deal for those who are dressed in costume: Receive a free ticket for a guest with purchase of a ticket.

Halloween Fun at the Herbfarm
Led in the kitchen by award-winning executive chef, Keith Luce, The Herbfarm chooses the best from its farm as well as forest and sea to create a thematic nine-course dinner that showcase the culinary treasures of the Pacific Northwest. Prizes awarded to best dressed guests in costume.
