( Soirée vegan bag by Crystalyn Kae, $215 ) This local designer (crystalynkae.com) has vegans covered with her popular vinyl and fabric gusset tote that converts from shoulder bag to messenger (shown in burgundy). Two of her other styles (Metier tote and pleated clutch) recently starred in Robin Williams’ new movie, World’s Greatest Dad, filmed in Seattle. Find them at Queen Anne Undies and Outies boutique.

( Carolina Pagano Collection Jayla pump, $550 ) This zebra-pattern shoe with 3.5-inch heels by Madison Park–based footwear designer Carolina Sadowski is made of custom designed leather. Each shoe in her collection (carolinapagano.com) includes one-of-a-kind details such as the black and white calf hair hand-cut to achieve the pattern for this shoe. Available at Posh on Main in Bellevue.

( Rodney bag by Rocco e Dante, $495 ) Available at downtown arm-candy mecca, Clutch, the full-grain caffè brown Italian leather Rodney is Seattle label Rocco e Dante’s (roccoedante.com) marriage of an oversized shoulder bag with a structured doctor’s bag. West Seattle–based Tara Sauvage modeled this piece after a ’40s Italian travel bag and picked the chocolate, ribbed viscose liner and gold hardware for extra pop.

( Zuzupop Veronica top with ruffle, $92 ) Taking inspiration from classic Victorian fashion, Ballard-based Zuzupop (zuzupop.com) designer Tes de Luna mixes a high-necked collar and ruffle accents with a quirky vintage-button embellishment for an ultrafeminine, flirty silk shirt that channels that yesteryear charm with a bit of present-day hipster appeal (a delightful combination that is the heart and soul of all of de Luna’s pieces). Available alongside other local independent designers’ apparel at de Luna’s boutique, Velouria, in Ballard (a second location is opening on Capitol Hill this autumn). Also in photo: locally-made leather belt with steel-forged buckle, $130 from Georgetown-based Steel-Toed Studios, available at Georgetown Tile Works and Horseshoe.
