See what it's like to live the high life at this month's Northwest Home/AIA Open House, the Goeke home, in Kirkland. This pedal-to-the-metal, budget-conscious couple worked with Susan Busch of Baylis Architects to create a flexible, fun home with lots of natural light and countless custom features, including custom-built horizontal cabinets and shimmering art glass throughout the kitchen. The three-story home boasts 180-degree views of Lake Washington and a reverse floor plan, putting the kitchen and great room on the top floor to maximize the view. |
