La Rousse Pop-Up Shop Pops Up in Seattle

I don’t know what it is about pop-up shops that I find so fascinating. They very idea of temporary or roving fashion outposts feels so very sexy-chic-New York, dontcha think? This summer I had a chance to dissect the concept with La Rousse owner Amanda Rosenthal who took to the pop-up route after closing her storefront last year. In addition to an online store, and one-on-one appointments, she also showcases her goods quarterly at Spa Noir.

The pop-up trend, though relatively novel in Seattle, is a popular marketing tactic in other cities. Rosenthal told me this summer she wouldn't be surprised if more of these temporary boutiques were to crop up. If you’re in Ballard this Sunday or looking to experience the pop-up vibe on your own, head to Spa Noir.
