Create Facebook (Paper) Photo Albums with Pixable

Ever wish you had a way to keep compile and organize those photos uploaded to Facebook and Flickr? Check out Pixable, a new start-up featured today in The New York Times tech blog, Bits. The company allows you to create soft-cover photo books of your online pics for as little as $6.95 for 22 pages.

I haven’t tried this service out but considering that I've stored most of my photos on Facebook since college, I’m considering checking the service out.

Of course, Pixable is not perfect. NYT’s writer Jenna Wortham offers a warning to the wise:
Pixable’s strongest suit — its intuitive user-interface and browser-based tool that makes editing and selecting photographs a snap — is also its most troubling. Users can grab photographs from any of their friends’ accounts, even if they aren’t tagged in those photographs. Although Mr. Blank said he envisioned the service as being a boon for those looking to create mementos from a group trip and gifts for friends, parents and a significant other, its not hard to imagine that situation gone awry.
