My fortune cookie reads: Look carefully, undiscovered treasures are yet to be found.

Makes me think I'd better get over to Kyoto Art & Antiques warehouse sale one more time before they close their doors for the spring season on May 10th. The new location in Georgetown is lovely with brick walls and high windows that let in the light.

If you're going, just know that you need to open all boxes and peer under tables and chairs or else you might miss something worthwhile. It's truly a treasure hunt of Asian antiques and collectibles from Japan, China, India and other destinations. The owners, an interesting mixed couple, are super nice -- Jay and Kyoko. If you miss it this time around, you'll have to wait unti fall.
