On Saturday, Nov. 14th at 11am, Po Dog, a gourmet hot dog joint opens its doors on Capitol Hill.

On the menu? Look for adventurous bites like peanut butter and banana-topped hot dogs, and deep-fried egg roll wasabi dogs. (Local street food favorite, Josh Henderson of Skillet consulted on a number of the hot dog combinations, and will be guest-cheffing for the month of November.)

So grab one of owner Laura Olson's twelve signature gourmet dogs, including such wild offerings like the Dub'T Dog (crushed potato chips and cheese sauce), or the Deep-fried Danger dog (wrapped in bacon), all served on Macrina brioche buns.

Po Dog also has Happy Hour from 4:30-6:30pm Mon.-Fri. Choose from mini dog sliders ($4.97), homemade potato chips and fries ($1.75), and assorted beers $2-$3.

Po Dogs
1009 E. Union St.
open Mon.-Thurs. 11am-midnight
open Fri.-Sat. 11am-3am, Sun. til 10pm
