Sea Breeze Farms opens restaurant on Vashon

Stopped by the Sea Breeze Farm stand at the Ballard farmers market to pick up some lamb burger this weekend  (no dice, but they said maybe next week) and found out that they've opened a restaurant right off the main drag on Vashon Island! The new restaurant, called Sea Breeze Farms La Boucherie, is open Tuesdays thru Saturdays from 11am til 3pm for lunch, and from 4:30pm 'til 9pm for dinner.

George Page, the owner of Sea Breeze, told me there's also a retail operation there, so if you miss the Saturday Vashon farmers market, stop in to pick up a lamb shank or a pork chop during business hours (Page noted that the selection is leaner towards the end of the week, so drop in Wednesday for the best selection).

I'm always looking for an excuse to take the ferry over to Vashon, and this is by far the best one I've found lately.
