Rover's to Offer Sunday Brunch

Rover's announced this week it will begin serving Sunday brunch for the first time since, well, ever.

A sign on of the slumping economy? Who cares (though this is the second pocketbook-friendly change in Rover's menu in recent months)! The new mid-day menu is filled with decadent delights that should help any hungry soul beat the recession blues.

The inaugural feast begins this Sunday (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) with a menu that will include Washington apple beignets, strawberry-orange brioche French toast, omelettes and poached eggs served with potato rissolé--and in true Rover's fashion, Thierry Rautureau has also included a few decadent items...any one up for a $20 egg dish? Well head to Rover's and try one of Ratureau's three egg omelettes (I'm eyeing the lobster version with Middle Eastern Osetra Cavier).
