Rancho Bravo Opens on Capitol Hill, more food news

The Pike/Pine corridor, which we featured in our food-focused Urban Safari this month, just keeps getting better and better for area eaters. On Sunday, Rancho Bravo opened in the old KFC space on the corner of 10th and Pine Streets. The esteemed Wallingford taco truck, which debuted almost exactly two years ago, is so popular, the owners decided an outpost on Capitol Hill made sense. And just days after opening, everything I've read so far has been positive. BTW, the original Rancho Bravo taco truck is still open on 45th, just east of Dick's.

A hop-skip down Pine Street, construction on the second Molly Moon's is well underway. Owner Molly Neitzel has even set an opening date for her fanatically popular ice creamery (opening in the Oddfellows Building): April 25th at 3pm. Gee, wonder if there'll be a line...

This Sunday, April 5th marks the first ever brunch at Rover's. Read all about that good news here.

And last but most definitely not least, I've got a very reliable source telling me Matt Dillon's legendary foodie haunt Sitka & Spruce is moving to...you guessed it, Capitol Hill! I've got an email into Matt now, so stay tuned for more info on that one.
UPDATE: the Capitol Hill Seattle blog has more info on where Dillon's moving Sitka, thanks to Citysearch's Whitney Ricketts.
