Pamper yourself with the Express Facial, a half-hour treatment for only $45, or de-stress with a 30-minute Aroma Back Relief treatment massage focusing on the neck and shoulders ($44). This enchanting salon offers happy-hour treatments year-round during the week, between 4 and 6 p.m. We love the Real Control Treatment, which will transform hair from frizzy to smooth for just $35. Happy hour at this popular waxing spa (Tuesday–Friday, 1–3 p.m.) isn’t just about cocktails (though you can have one here before treatments!). Score $15 brow waxes (or the waxing special of the day; call for details), often accompanied by discounts on services such as lash tints and lip waxes. Appointments are only accepted day of, and walk-ins are welcome.

This year’s Spa Week—a beloved national promotion offering deeply discounted treatments at participating spas and salons—is April 13-19, so pencil in your pampering time. Participating spas had not yet been announced at press time, but expect to find $50 treatments from more than 20 local beauty businesses (last year’s participants included Spa Blix, Calidora Skin Clinic and Derby Salon, among others).
