Cultural Transcendence

Through 6/19
The Wing Luke Asian Museum has been cranking up its artistic offerings of late, following up Roger Shimomura’s stunning Yellow Terror show (and the smaller, but lovely collection of contemporary local Asian artists, Parallel Lines) with a new exhibit curated by Lele Barnett (formerly of the McLeod Residence). This time the focus is on Asian Pacific Islander American artists (including Portland’s Horatio Law and local Brent Watanabe), who “envision a better tomorrow” by creating art that reflects our connection with technology.

Times and prices vary. Wing Luke Asian Museum, 719 S King St.; 206.623.5124
