“You guys ready to rock…softly?” For a growing number of fans of local performers Mark Siano and the Freedom Dancers, the answer is a resounding “Yes!” A quirky, tongue-in-cheek performance/dance/theater group, the soft-rock clan has built a reputation around town for doing MTV-video-style numbers to 1980s AM radio classics (in glorious ’80s finery). In this new show, the Freedom Dancers use (or misuse) elements of The Karate Kid to convey their “origin story.” Wax on.
