3 by Dove
Thursday, March 18 - Sunday, March 28
Before his death in 1996, Ulysses Dove choreographed explosively athletic, socially conscious pieces for ballet companies around the world. Pacific Northwest Ballet will perform three of his pieces, Red Angels, Vespers and Serious Pleasures, the latter of which is making its PNB debut. A fourth piece, Suspension of Disbelief, by contemporary Los Angeles–born choreographer Victor Quijada, pays homage to Dove with more cutting-edge choreography.
