Even the animals at Woodland Park Zoo feel a little patriotic this time of year, so at the Red, White & Zoo event, they’ll nibble on picnic food such as star-shaped Popsicles, watermelon and corn on the cob—with a voracity sure to make the kiddies squeal. Adults not so enthralled by drooling rhinos will at least enjoy learning how keepers use food and activities to keep the zoo’s creatures in tip-top condition.
