2010 Chefs Dinner for Bailey-Boushay House

On January 17, local area chefs prepared an exquisite, 7-course meal for more than 300 guests to benefit Bailey-Boushay House, a Virginia Mason nursing facility that cares for people living with HIV/AIDS. This year's Mad Hatter tea party-themed dinner, which also featured a silent wine auction, was the most successful dinner in the event's 18-year history, raising an astounding $304,000.

Hutch Holiday Gala

Fred Hutch's annual Hutch Holiday Gala on December 5 at the Seattle Sheraton Hotel brought in an astounding $8.8 million for the Center's cancer research programs during a glitzy evening that included a live auction, dancing and the "Diamond Dash" raffle (the big prize: bling!) sponsored by Alvin Goldfarb Jewelers. Prior to the event, the Bezos family also pledged a $10 million gift to benefit FHCRC.
