Evening of Hope: Pillow Fight for The Market

Guests donned cozy pajamas and smoking jackets for the 13th annual Evening of Hope: Pillow Fight for The Market Foundation on February 6, and before retiring for the evening, raised $400,000. The Seattle Hotel Association transformed the Fairmont Olympic Hotel into a dreamy wonderland; guests enjoyed a bedtime fashion show and special presentation for the evening’s community service honorees, restaurateur Tom Douglas and his wife, Jackie Cross.

2010 Chefs Dinner for Bailey-Boushay House

On January 17, local area chefs prepared an exquisite, 7-course meal for more than 300 guests to benefit Bailey-Boushay House, a Virginia Mason nursing facility that cares for people living with HIV/AIDS. This year's Mad Hatter tea party-themed dinner, which also featured a silent wine auction, was the most successful dinner in the event's 18-year history, raising an astounding $304,000.
