Scout Apparel to Close

Scout makes way for progress

Edie’s Shoes/Scout Apparel owner Erin Dolan has announced the closure of Scout mid-June due to the re-imagining of the block on which her shops live. (We reported on Edie’s moving a few weeks ago, up to the former Brocklind’s costume building.) No word yet of a clearance sale, but we’ll keep you updated if we hear of anything. Read more »

After almost seven years, Phinney Ridge’s Hip Zephyr is moving to Mercer Island (2727 78th Ave. SE) this June. The tiny 350 square-foot shop, which carries a nice selection of denim, and other casual wear, including many brands not found elsewhere in town, is moving to a 1,200 square-foot space recently vacated by What to Wear, an 11 year-old boutique also known for their selection of denim, and other casual wear.
