Meet some of the emerging talents in woodworking at the Northwest Woodworkers Gallery's (Belltown, 2111 First Ave.; 206.625.0542) Rising Star Furniture Makers reception this Friday (3/14) at 5 p.m.

This sixth annual juried show features 14 distinctive designs—chairs to coffee tables—by 10 local furniture makers.

It would make a diverting stop as part of Friday's Belltown Art Walk, from 6-9 p.m.
