Miller's Guild Bags Room Service at Hotel Max

In what is hopefully a sign that hotels, at least the boutique variety, may start bagging traditional room service all together, Miller's Guild is using very non-traditional packaging to deliver order-in.

About two weeks ago, chef Jason Wilson and the crew at Hotel Max unveiled a nifty new room service program without using a single silver domed tray in the process. Read more »

Consignment Collective at Clementine

Starting today, Friday March 7 and running through the end of the month, West Seattle’s Clementine is hosting a pop-up consignment shoe shop-within-a-shop. Featuring gently and barely worn shoes from the closets of Seattle’s most stylish women, including Clem owner Linda Walsh, designer Mia Fioravanti, Sandylew’s namesake Sandy Lew and Carmilia’s boutique owner Linda Sabee. Poppy & Bloom at Blue Luna

Kirkland’s Blue Luna is hosting local plus size fashion line Poppy & Bloom on Saturday, March 8 from noon to 6 p.m. for a spring trunk show. Brand founders, including head designer Olga Szwed, will be on site to show off their lovely line, which includes Mad Men-inspired dresses ranging in price from $115 to $160.
