Kendall Jones on Citizen Six's Korexican crunchy chicken wings

Here’s what Seattle magazine beer scribe Kendall Jones, also of the Washington Beer Blog, had to say about the crunchy wings at Citizen Six in Interbay:

“Like any good fried chicken, these double-fried wings and drumettes are crisp and crunchy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. What sets them apart from the crowd? Citizen Six smothers these delicious morsels in a sweet and spicy sauce that helps you understand the pub’s Korexican theme: a transcontinental fusion of Korean and Mexican flavors. To compliment the wings, order a Pineapple-Jalapeno cider from Number 6 Cider, which happens to be right next door. A plate of six meaty wings, served with a side of soy-marinated veggies, is $6 during happy hour (Mon-Fri 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.), $8.95 regularly.

Citizen Six is located at 945 Elliott Ave W #201, Seattle; (206) 588-2224; citizensix.com
