The ’90s revival may be in full swing, but teenagers and hipsters, take note: Combat boots and flannel weren’t the only things born from the grunge movement. Art took a turn in the mosh pit as well. Seattle photographer Alice Wheeler gained acclaim for her vibrant, sometimes shocking portraits of local alterna-life back in the day (including Kurt Cobain and Olympia’s riot grrrl rockers), and her current exhibit at Greg Kucera Gallery proves she’s still captivated by all things counterculture. This time she aims her agile lens at local women. Times vary. Free. Greg Kucera Gallery, 212 Third Ave. S; 206.624.0770; gregkucera.com
