It’s not often you come across a dance theater company that is truly scary—a company that creates such disturbing, lasting images that you are skeeved out and a little jumpy for days afterward, fearing you might encounter one of their surreal tableaus around a real-life corner. Say hello to Portland-based tEEth, whose wildly original and at times very funny Normal and Happy gave viewers serious creeps at On the Boards’ 2007 Northwest New Works show.

This premiere work, Grub, promises to be no less eerie, and equally skillful and compelling. See the show for yourself Feb. 12 at On The Boards.
