Whether it’s a misogynistic message printed on a tee shirt for girls (ahem, “I’m too pretty to do math”) or something racist (remember Abercrombie & Fitch’s shirt with the “Wong Brothers Laundry Service” slogan that caused an uproar back in 2002?), it seems graphic tees covered in absurd statements just won’t go away. Now, you can purchase a baseball-style top with Kurt Cobain’s suicide note printed on it. How edgy. Note: As of 10:12 a.m., it appears the shirt has been removed from Ebay.

On a lighter note, the Woodland Park Zoo is asking you to help it name its three new male lion cubs. Ten names, all derived from “languages that reflect parts of the South African lion’s native range,” are on the ballot and you can select up to three of your favorites. The poll is open through January 26, so get voting!

Remember the game-winning call involving a Hail Mary to the endzone that caused the Seahawks to triumph over the Green Bay Packers back in 2012? Well the replacement referee who made the controversial call says he “received death threats” and “is suffering from depression two years later.” King 5 has the scoop.

Soccer star Hope Solo is off the hook for domestic violence charges she faced for allegedly hitting her half-sister and nephew last June. MyNorthwest.com reports Solo’s “attorney Todd Maybrown had repeatedly asked the court to dismiss the charges, arguing she was actually the victim and the two alleged victims were uncooperative and repeatedly changed their stories.” A judge dismissed the charges.

Legendary Fremont sandwich shop Paseo is officially open again, this time under new ownership. We reported last week that 50 customers visited the restaurant in the first half-hour. But how does the latest iteration compare to ye olde Paseo? The Stranger explores.
