Recipe of the Week: Blood Orange Pomegranate Margaritas

Toast to the new year with these bright cocktails

Whether you’re entertaining at home or mixing drinks on the run, this citrusy cocktail balances sweet and tart brilliantly and the pomegranate makes it a celebration. Ingredients

  • Sugar or salt (depending on your preference)
  • ½ cup pomegranate juice
  • ½ cup blood orange juice
  • ½ cup fresh lime juice
  • ½ cup Tequila Blanco
  • 4 tablespoons agave
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glasses: Drag a cut lime or blood orange around the rim of the 4 glasses. Dip the rim in sugar or kosher salt, depending on your preference.
  2. Make the drink: Combine ice, the agave, the pomegranate, blood orange and lime juice and the tequila in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously and then pour into a chilled ice filled glass. Garnish with blood orange and pomegranate seeds.
