Los Angeles musician Aaron Bruno of electronic rock band AWOLnation made waves in 2011 with his hit single “Sail.” Yesterday, Bruno unveiled the official music video for “Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf),” the first single off his soon-to-be released album Run. (Pre-order it here.)

Seattle magazine’s staff photographer, Hayley Young, whose extensive work on the local and national music scene includes a video for Nashville indie-folk band Apache Relay and portraits of every. single. band. covered in our our September 2014 article “The 50 Bands Rocking the Seattle Music Right Now,” shot the “Hollow Moon” video.

“He reached out to me after seeing the Apache Relay video on [the TV network] Palladia,” Young says. “After months of creative back and forth, he made final decision to work with me on January 6 and we shot on January 19.”

The video is a single take that was shot with all Seattle-based dancers, actors and crew members.
