Polish up your finest British accent; we’ve got brilliant news here. Ted Baker London, the British lifestyle brand known for its classic yet cheeky men’s and women’s wares, is opening a 2,960-square-foot shop in Bellevue Square.

The store will be the label’s first in the Seattle area and will feature a high tea-inspired design with a nod to our local love for coffee. Expect a veritable tea party inside: a palette of pastel pinks, blues and mint greens is mixed with oversized white doily decals throughout the space, tea tin-printed wallcoverings in the fitting rooms and tiered cake-stand light fixtures overhead.

Ted Baker’s spring/summer 2016 womenswear, menswear and accessories collections will fill the store upon opening, which is set for Friday, March 4. If you happen to swing by the new outpost during opening weekend, you’ll score a bespoke gift with purchase and find all manner of giveaways to fete the occasion.

Bellevue’s high-fashion offerings continue to expand. In January, luxury Italian designer Prada opened a 5,100-square-foot, two-floor store at The Shops at the Bravern.
