If you read our Big List of Free Things To Do in Seattle, you know that this weekend’s epic, three-day Seattle Street Food Festival is still free to attend but has moved from its original location in Capitol Hill to a roomier South Lake Union at Denny Ave & Ninth by Westlake. Hours are 3 to 9 p.m. Aug. 14, and noon to 11 p.m. on Aug. 15 and 16.

But, did you know that Seattle’s largest independent street food festival is also home to the city’s largest independent craft show?Urban Craft Uprising has helped to organize more than 100 hand made crafts from clothing of all kind to jewelry, candles, toys, housewares and more.

Still, we’re going for the food. Make that the trucks, trailers, pop-ups and booths that will be making and selling their tasty treats – we counted a total of 60 at presstime.

On our must-hit map: Lily’s Salvadorean Catering for zesty pupusas, Papa Bois for dry-rubbed jerk chicken, Pel Meni Dumpling Tzar for traditional Russian-style meat dumplings, and Sweetbumpas for amazing seasonal ice cream (peach cobbler and blackberry vanilla is out of this world). A full list of vendors is here.

Go over two days so you can break it up into savory and sweet. Wear stretchy pants. And, take public transporation.
