Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band
7/8 (Thursday) -  Spend your lunch hour outdoors with local indie rock sensation, Mt. St. Helen’s Vietnam Band, playing a free concert at City Hall. MSHVB’s energetic performance will leave you wanting more. Free, noon-1:30. City Hall, 600 Fourth Avenue, Downtown.

West Seattle Summer Fest
7/9 – 7/11 (Friday - Sunday)
 - Head to West Seattle to enjoy two stages of live music (including local fave Mark Pickerel & His Praying Hands), a skateboard expo and local food vendors. End the day in the beer garden or at the Saturday night street dance.  Free. Mobile Chowdown
7/10 (Saturday)
- Bust out your elastic-waist pants and comfortable shoes—it’s time for another Mobile Chowdown featuring mobile food trucks from Seattle and Portland. Plus, this just in: a beer garden! Free admittance, 11 a.m. Seattle Center, 305 Harrison St., Queen Anne.

Thaw Collective Indie Kids Fashion Show
7/10 (Saturday)
- Watch wee models walk the catwalk in locally designed creations (including those by Seattle mag’s own Seamless in Seattle winner, Tyson Andersen). Enjoy refreshments for adults and kiddies alike, all while raising money for the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. Tickets $12-$25. 11 a.m.–12 p.m. Vitaminwater Social Club, 1001 E. Pike, Downtown.

Ballard Seafood Fest
7/11 (Sunday)
- Feed your inner Viking with Ballard-style summer fun for the whole family. Feast on barbecued salmon, relax in the beer and wine gardens, bring your pooch to the pet stations, or just cruise the vendor booths. Kiddies will enjoy the family-themed entertainment–puppets, singing, reptiles and merriment.
