Celebrate Spring at a Local Flower Fests
Kick start spring with a visit to one of our region’s many flower fests. Here are a few of our favorites:
Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, Mount Vernon
4/1 - 4/30 • Flora fans can celebrate Skagit Valley’s prized tulips throughout the month of April. The Daffodil Festival, Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner and Orting
4/10 • Pay homage to the Daffodil queen as the Royal Daffodil Court makes its procession through Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner and Orting. Not sure which city to watch the parade from? Just follow the scent of floats festooned in thousands of daffodils.

Seattle Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival, Seattle Center
4/17-4/19 • Feast your eyes (and nose) on the artful displays of Japanese flower arrangements, taiko drums, and traditional tea demonstrations as Seattleites honor Japan’s gift of 1,000 blossoming cherry trees to Seattle (most of them can be seen along Lake Washington Boulevard, in Seward Park.) Washington State Apple Blossom Festival, Wenatchee
