Radar Hair & Records celebrated their new shop with a grand opening last Saturday.
Radar Hair & Records owners Betsy Hansen (of Rusk, Vain, and Helmet Head) and Johnny Samra (an avid vinyl collector for 17 years) celebrated their recent arrival to the SoDo with a grand opening at their brightly painted warehouse digs. Hansen and Samra combined their eclectic interests into one shop--music and records, vintage clothing and audio gear and other knick knacks, while operating as a full-service hair salon. Rummage through works by local artists at Ouch My Eye Gallery's summer Y(art) sale this First Thursday
Mostly low brow, but always fun, art gallery Ouch My Eye is hosting a summer sale for local artists at its SoDo home tomorrow. Artists were asked to clear their studios of "forgotten works" and bring them in for sale at August's First Thursday gallery walk. Tod Leiweke is leaving the Seattle Seahawks and Sounders for an ownership post with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League.
Leiweke's resignation as CEO of Paul Allen's Vulcan Sports and Entertainment was announced Monday, but he will stay with Vulcan until his successor is hired.
