Beloved childrens musician and folk singer, Elizabeth Mitchell, has released a new album just in time for the holidays. Called The Sounding Joy, this festive album is inspired by the 1953 American Folk Songs for Christmas songbook by Ruth Crawford Seeger, the step mother of famed folk singer, Pete Seeger, and features a cadre of special guests, including Natalie Merchant (10,000 Maniacs), Dane Zane and Pete Seeger's sister Peggy.
