Nordstrom is teaming up with Boston-based Fashion Project, an innovative clothing donation site that resells gently used designer clothing and donates 55 percent of the proceeds to charity. Since launching in 2012 the company has donated over $50,000 to causes such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Unicef.
Earlier this year, Amsterdam-based men’s outfitter Suitsupply opened a store in Seattle, its 10th in the U.S.—bringing a world of custom-tailored suits and accessories to this city’s increasingly style-conscious male inhabitants. A well-fitted button up shirt can do wonders for a woman’s figure, in my humble opinion. Done right, it buttons without gaping, hugs the lines of her back and sides without bulging, shows off her lovely hourglass shape and strikes a very sophisticated and polished cut of her jib. Too often, though, the fit is not correct, and both gaps and bulges are present, which is probably why many women have sworn off fitted tops that button up the front.
