"I'm not a very strategic person," chef Matt Dillon told the crowd at last week's restaurant development summit at The Triple Door. He was joined on stage by fellow restauratuers Renee Erickson, Tom Douglas, Thierry Rautureau, Rick Yoder and Ethan Stowell. He had just been asked by the moderator, "What's next?" or something equally loaded.

Rhodies at Whidbey's Meerkerk Gardens

Nordstrom is teaming up with Boston-based Fashion Project, an innovative clothing donation site that resells gently used designer clothing and donates 55 percent of the proceeds to charity. Since launching in 2012 the company has donated over $50,000 to causes such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Unicef.
