Chris Hansen Launches a Waitlist for Sonics Tickets

By Seattle Mag March 14, 2013

Chris Hansen launches a “Priority Ticket Waitlist” today for future tickets to Sonics games. As explained on the Sonics Arena blog, adding your name to the list doesn’t guarantee tickets. It just means you’ll be among the first contacted by a Sonics salesperson for the opportunity to buy tickets when the time is right. Also of interest, the Sonics Arena just released design renderings and details for the interior of the arena

Access the ticket waitlist here, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Keep in mind, given the ongoing (but hopeful) contest for the Sacramento Kings and the pending environmental review, the arena isn’t breaking ground any time soon. For now, like the beautiful blanket of stars depicted as visible in this rendering of downtown Seattle, the Sonics playing in SoDo is but a twinkle in the city’s imagination.
