Crosscut Looking for Courageous Individuals!

Crosscut Courage Awards Seattle magazine

Our friends over at Crosscut, Seattle's nonprofit, independant online news organization that has brilliant coverage on the mayoral race and other civic-related items, has launched its first-ever Courage Awards. And it's looking for nominees. Here's the gist:

Got Courage? Crosscut launched its first annual Courage Awards in June! The Awards will honor courageous individuals who took a risk to successfully break gridlock; innovated despite criticism; exhibited uncommon, selfless leadership; followed data and best practices even though custom and tradition may say otherwise; and inspired and instructed others in public service, business and cultural leadership.

To nominate one or more people for the Crosscut Courage Awards, email with the name of your nominee and a paragraph describing the reason for their nomination. Nominations must be received by July 30. Honorees will be chosen by the Crosscut board and honored at a breakfast on October 31 at Bell Harbor.
