You could pull this Katniss Everdeen costume together in a snap, assuming you have a bow and arrow lying around somewhere.

You live for Halloween because it’s the one time of year that your creative genius is given free rein and your freak flag can fly high, mighty and proud.
If that sentence describes you, this fun contest, co-sponsored with Value Village, is right up your alley.
Show us the best, most outrageous*, scariest, cutest, or most clever do-it-yourself costume (for yourself, your kids or your pets) that has ever sprung forth from your brilliant brain, born of your own two hands. The best costume maker will win a $50 gift certificate to Value Village to spend on your heart’s delight.
Costumes can contain elements of store-bought stuff (from Value Village, all the better!) but the winning entry must be primarily "homemade."
Post a picture of your DIY Halloween costume on Seattle magazine's Facebook page (or email it to bond.huberman@tigeroak.com) and we’ll pick the winner at 10 a.m. on Halloween morning, October 31. The winner will be announced on Facebook.
*all entries must be safe for work and appropriate for public viewing!
