DANCE This

One of the city’s most enthusiastic, energetic dance performances each year features a slew of young dancers you’ve never heard of—at least not yet. DANCE This is a summer training intensive that brings aspiring teen dancers from communities all over town together with esteemed local choreographers (this year’s teachers include Mark Haim and Sonia Dawkins) to learn a wide range of skills in genres spanning hip-hop, ballet, modern, salsa and African dance. After two weeks they put on an infectiously fun show.
