The Soul Queen of New Orleans comes to Seattle for two nights of powerful vocals and healing blues. Her 50-year career—still going strong—includes a 2007 Grammy for the Best Contemporary Blues Album, After the Rain, so although she may be a long way from the city that crowned her, it would seem Ms. Thomas already knows a little something about our city.
