Check out the ultimate live/work studio in West Seattle! Owner and architect Robert Zimmer and photgrapher wife Lara Swimmer took a vacant lot and created a "perpetually-adaptable infill building" which doubles as the perfect live/work space for their growing family but can change for a myriad of uses in the future. The linear three-level design includes a floor for work spaces, a floor for the main living areas and a floor of beds, baths and a rooftop deck with payoff views of downtown Seattle. Plus the home has an open core of rooms, which currently serves as laundry/storage space, but can easily be converted into an elevator shaft - for whatever the future may bring.
