Seattle University's Dance Marathon

UPDATE: Seattle Mayor to attend Dance Marathon at 3 p.m.

Seattle University is hosting their annual event the Dance Marathon, which is a branch of the nationwide Dance Marathon philanthropy that benefits Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.  The 16-hour dance celebration specifically benefits Seattle Children's Hospital's Uncompensated Care Fund.

Attendees challenge themselves to participate for the full 16 hours in order to demonstrate solidarity with the patients at Children's who can't take a break from their illness, and brings together hundreds of SU students and staff, patients and families and local community members.

In addition to the groovin' fun, the Dance Marathon also features catered meals, performances, a photobooth, silent auction and a multitude of activities.
