Seattle Wine and Food Experience 2013

If you like a little stellar grub when you’re tasting wine, head downtown to the ultimate celebration for oenophiles with appetites: the Seattle Wine and Food Experience. Here, you can sample hundreds of local and international wines, beers and spirits, including pours from the buzz-inspiring Sonoris Wines by Hillary Sjolund, and pair every sip with gourmet fare from favorite local restaurants, including Local 360, Allium and The Barking Frog. Each year the event spotlights a different Northwest viticultural region; this year, Oregon is in the limelight, with 35 of its wineries featured and particular attention paid to its Pinot Noir. “You definitely don’t leave hungry or thirsty,” reports regular attendee and Sips and the City blogger Taryn Miller. —ERIN BOSETTI

The Seattle Wine and Food Experience is the premier showcase for wine and food in the Northwest. Indulge in a world tour of wine, beer, spirits and all things culinary. You'll have a chance to sample from dozens of artisan exhibitors, including the Woodinville Whiskey Co., Ste. Michelle Winery, The Barking Frog, Macrina Bakery, and so much more! Check out the Seattle Food and Wine Experience website for a full list of vendors and more information.
