Southwest Seattle Historical Society Annual Benefit Gala

Presented by SW Seattle Historical Society

A benefit for the Southwest Seattle Historical Society, which operates the Log House Museum in West Seattle. Drawing more than 150 people who support the heritage of the Duwamish Peninsula, the 2013 gala features an inspirational, heritage-based presentation, silent auction, sumptuous buffet and dessert dash, topped off by champagne for all. Proceeds support the society and its museum, located one block from Alki Beach, the birthplace of Seattle. A historic 1904 log building, the exhibit “Telling Our Westside Stories,” research and education pace this organization’s mission to keep history alive.
