!–paging_filter–pPopular West Edge fixture, a href=”http://local.seattlemag.com/finerie“The Finerie/a, has taken advantage of the vacancy provided by a href=”http://www.greatjoneshome.com/” target=”_blank”Great Jones Home/a from the very cool building at 1921 Second Ave. to launch a temporary pop-up shop on the other edge of downtown./p
pWhile the original location focuses exclusively on clothing and accessories, the Finerie CoLab has a mixture of décor, apothecary and clothing, with a strong showing from local designers including a href=”http://www.rosannainc.com/” target=”_blank”Rosanna/a and a href=”http://www.rianbyrian.com/” target=”_blank”Rian/a./p
pWhile the shop has been softly open for a few months, the crew is throwing a huge grand opening bash on Thursday, June 26 from 7 to 10 p.m. complete with bevvies, nibbles, truffles and dancing./p
pOwner Tanya Friberg reports that the building is slated for demolition sometime next year, and plans to ride out the temporary space until then. Regular hours are 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday./p
pSwing by the new shop, hit up a href=”http://www.ianshop.com/” target=”_blank”Ian/a next door and a href=”http://local.seattlemag.com/fancy“Fancy/a across the street, then head around the corner to a href=”http://local.seattlemag.com/baby-co“Baby and Company/a and a href=”http://local.seattlemag.com/jack-straw“Jack Straw/a for a nice few hours of quintessential Seattle boutique shopping./p
