The pleasant clatter and din of business folk holding meetings in booths while Hotel Ändra guests share bacon and eggs with their kids make this Seattle’s liveliest downtown weekday breakfast spot. On the menu you’ll find the oddball though tasty offering of grilled octopus over veggie hash and harissa’d yogurt for breakfast (yes, really! $18). But more mainstream crave inducers are on offer, too: fried-to-order doughnuts with homemade jam ($8), and a big ol’ stack of pancakes with house-made sausage and vanilla mascarpone ($14).
