Branding Statement/ Bio Info:

The 2012 glam.spoon couture collection, “To Dye For,” is the embodiment of romance, bohemia, femininity and vibrancy. Each piece is crafted from 100% recycled materials, hand sculpted into one-of-a-kind pieces in bold colors and flattering silhouettes, utilizing natural, hand-dyed cotton, linen + silk.
glam.spoon began in 2005 as a closet reorganization project, and has grown into a limited run, specialty line of day wear sold exclusively through local boutique, Frock Shop, as well as an annual couture line featured in photo editorials, charity auctions, competitions and fashion events. The couture looks are timeless, flattering and stand out from the crowd. Each piece in the collection takes its shape from key elements of the past infused with modern styling. All items are handmade by glam.spoon’s owner + designer, Tina Witherspoon.
Target Market: The woman who would wear this collection is independent + urban. She prefers never to blend in and she appreciates hand-crafting while being conscious of the environmental impact of the garment industry. glam.spoon pieces incorporate bold, feminine details and are as comfortable as cotton pajamas. They can be thrown in a suitcase and in the washing machine. glam.spoon designs make you feel pretty, confident + absolutely individual.
Price point: The Saturday Market Dress retails for $128 - $188; One-of-a-kind separates from the couture collection are priced from $228 - $328; while the cocktail dresses and gowns retail from $328 - $600.
Vendors: The glam.spoon couture line would be most appropriate for independent clothing boutiques + high-end specialty shops throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
