Happy Holidays from Seattle magazine

Lauren Mang

Starting tomorrow, December 24, the editors at Seattle magazine will be taking some well-deserved time off to be with family and friends and enjoy the holiday. (We hope you're doing the same.) As such, Seattlemag.com will be taking a slight breather from regular blog and article posts. However, dear reader, that does not mean we're leaving you high and dry. With New Year's Eve nipping at our heels, we've lined up a slew of fancy parties and dinners around Seattle here. If you're in search of fab holiday dining options during your days off, allow this list to be your guide. And when it comes to bars and cocktails, peruse our Best New Bars of 2013 for ideas or go with a few locals' picks for great cocktails and Seattle drinking establishments.

Also, inside our January issue (on newsstands starting December 26), you'll find all sorts of stories to sink your teeth into. Here, a sampling:

Cheap and Portable Breakfasts for When You're On the Go
Heather Christo's Easy Party Idea: Soup and Grilled Cheese Bar (hello, Super Bowl entertaining made simple!)
Seattle's Lindy West Brings Women's Issues to Light Online
The Best Oyster Palaces and Raw Bars in Seattle

That should be plenty to keep you busy, but if not, check back in if you’re inclined for a blog post here and there. See you in 2014. Cheers
