Hey Seattle mag readers! Fantastic news on the home front.

It gives me great pleasure to announce that my dear friends Hey Marseilles (who I’ve also directed in a video) will be performing unrelased tracks from their sophomore album (the band is in the studio recording tracks now) on Monday, May 23 for a special benefit concert for Nicole Pieratt, a dear friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Hey Marseilles and myself have joined forces with a number of incredible artists, business people, musicians and service industry professionals to bring Nicole a night of celebration and to help raise funds to cover her medical bills.

Serving as our giant symbolic cherry on this delicious cake of a party, Seattle-born songster Pearly Gate Music will also be performing! Having relocated to Portland after his 2010 European Tour, we are incredibly lucky to have the melodic styling of Zach Tillman back on his home stage. We’ve missed you Zach!!!

Guests can bid on silent auction items, including a case of 2007 Mathews Columbia Valley Claret, a print of Kurt Cobain signed by local photographer Charles Peterson, a portrait session with photographer Daniel Carrillo and many other crazy packages of awesomeness. Minimum bids start low, watch them as they go!

5/23. 6 p.m. $25. Free parking. Champagne and light appetizers provided. Fred Wildlife Refuge, 128 Belmont Ave. E Seattle. For more information visit: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/175113 or nicatniteinfo.org.
