By Seattle Mag June 14, 2013

This summer Cap Hill retailer NuBe Green is taking to the streets in their new 24-foot mobile solar powered boutique fashion out of a salvaged shipping container. Its first stop is at Bellevue’s Cupcake Royale, right in the heart of downtown Bellevue and will be there from June 20 through September 15. Inside you’ll find a slimmed down inventory of the same great stuff you love at NuBe Green’s brick and mortar, all designed and manufactured in the USA, delightfully packaged in a large rectangular box.

NuBe and Cupcake Royale are hosting an opening day party on June 20 with food, music and activities, including DIY origami vegetable pots, BOGO ice cream with purchase at NuBe, 10 percent off cuts and products at the adjacent Rudy’s Barbershop as well as FREE MOHAWKS. RAD!!!

In other NuBe Green news: owner Ruth True and team have renovated their Oddfellows Hall digs, significantly lessening the shops footprint. No word on what’s going into the primo corner space yet, but we’ll let you know when we do.

**Updated 11:38 a.m. Just heard that Brenthaven, a Bellingham-based laptop, tablet and smart phone case designer will be moving in next to NuBe. There will be a walkway between the two businesses to create a marketplace feel.
